HBA Chicago Chapter board recognizes Bhavani Moodbagil as “Volunteer of the Month” for her year-long effort to build a relationship with Baxter’s corporate diversity and HR teams as well as her effort to understand Baxter’s company goals with regards to womens’ leadership.

Nearly 100 Rising Stars were honored at the HBA’s 21st annual “Woman of the Year” (WOTY) Luncheon on Thursday, May 6, in New York City and simulcast to San Francisco.

On June 16 HBA Greater Philadelphia will host an exciting event, “Getting Recognized to Get Ahead,” presented by Denise Peppard, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).

The March program titled “Regulatory Changes in Devices” was moderated by Buket Grau, Bill Christianson, Sharon Murphy, and Melissa Clark.

The Boston Scientific Women’s Network Boston Chapter and the HBA hosted the event “Navigating Corporate Politics”. The featured presenter was Sandra Glucksmann, Senior Vice President of Research and Business Operations at Cerulean Pharma.

Greater Philadelphia HBA members gathered on April 13, 2010 for the sold-out event “Train Your Brain for Peak Performance”.

In recognition of the “Year of the Chapter”, the HBA Chicago chapter created two 3-minute videos that provide personal perspectives from industry leaders and HBA members.

The Chicago Chapter took a leadership role in developing two Illuminating Leaders snapshots. The objective was to showcase the personal benefits of HBA membership and the professional value of attending the annual leadership conference.

Chicago HBA members gathered to explore the impact of communication style on the likelihood of achieving a desired outcome.
