HBA Houston is thrilled to recognize both Amber Doss and Adriana Sanchez as Honored Volunteers. These two individuals have made meaningful and impactful volunteer contributions to both HBA Houston and the HBA Southwest region.

Amber Doss was instrumental in the success of the HBA Southwest regional event, Leadership Virtual Roundtables: a Window into Your Future. Through her direction and expert operational capabilities over the two-day event, speakers, moderators and guests were seamlessly transitioned throughout the multiple breakout rooms, ensuring the success of the event.
Amber has enjoyed many years in the healthcare industry and has been recognized with numerous awards, including Circle of Excellence and Regional awards. She currently serves as the co-lead for MOSIAC, Sanofi’s multicultural employee resource group and is an active volunteer not only within the HBA but within other organizations in the Houston area. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, working out, hanging out with family, friends and her Shih Tzu, Sweet Pea.

Adriana Sanchez, through her collaborative spirit, dedication and innovation, continues to provide support to both HBA Houston and the HBA Southwest region. As a dependable team member, along with executing her marketing responsibilities, Adriana consistently collaborates with other board members to develop and implement strategies and presentations to communicate member benefits and help drive membership. She has created a standard for all event presentations to maintain continuity within the chapter and is always willing to share her work and ideas throughout the region. It is her leadership mindset and willingness to contribute that drives her action towards helping to create a successful chapter and region.
With more than 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Adriana currently serves as the west coast national account manager for Relypsa. Throughout her career, has been named to multiple internal advisory boards and has collaborated with marketing and training in the development and execution of special projects. She has also been the recipient of multiple awards and has earned several President’s Club awards. Adriana believes in supporting her community through non-profit organizations and charity work, empowering women at all levels and as an ex-docent from the Houston Zoo, is known to tell you more than you ever wanted to know about many animals.
