The HBA GP Chapter is kicking off its campaign in search of their 1000th phenomenal member. The 1000th member will be granted paid registration to the HBA Leadership Conference in October in Philadelphia, a special acknowledgment of a special milestone.
Brooke Claussen, Tanika Craig, Kristen M. Dodge, Julie Hakim, Kelly S. Lewis, PharmD, Lindsay Luke, Nancy Martin, MD, and Dawn Palace, PhD represented the Chicago Chapter well while exemplifying true experiential leadership qualities.
A group of talented businesswomen led by Lynda McDermott, President, EquiPro International, is forming a new HBA Affiliate for Florida. Volunteer leaders from the Tampa Bay and Orlando area have a goal of making a difference for career minded professional businesswomen in Florida where the healthcare industry is thriving.

The annual HBA Leadership Conference will be held October 27-29, 2010. This year’s theme is “Leadership Impact Delivered: Innovate, Orchestrate, Perform.”

On Thursday, April 16 2010, Chicago HBA Chapter members, members from other chapters and guests filled the ballroom at the Hyatt Hotel to listen to the evening’s featured speaker, Dr. Deborah Dunsire, President and CEO of Millennium, the Takeda Oncology Company.
