As a united force for change, the safety and well-being of our community is at the forefront of our decision-making. With increased concerns about the spread of COVID-19, the HBA has decided to reimagine our in-person Woman of the Year, and ancillary activities.
This year, we will not meet as planned on 29 April in New York City.
At this time, however, we are excited to share that we will design a new and dynamic experience to celebrate our honorees, network with industry peers and offer robust opportunities for visibility for our sponsors, corporate partners and key stakeholders.
Right now, we are exploring alternatives, ideating options and consulting with event planning experts. And in fact, I’m thrilled to share that we plan to leverage this unique chance to get your perspective on shaping the re-imagined Woman of the Year event.
We realize you have questions and we are working diligently to provide answers as soon as possible. Additional communications to address your inquiries and provide greater details are forthcoming, early next week.
As you can imagine, like many of your organizations, we are in uncharted waters so we kindly ask for your patience as we navigate the path forward. As soon as details are available, we will share updates with you and engage you in the process.
While there is universal uncertainty about many things today, on behalf of the HBA global board of directors and the central staff team, I am certain that working together we will weather this storm.
